Alemba

Alemba, whose real name is Alex Mwangi, is a Kenyan gospel musician and emcee known for his energetic role as a "hype master" in the East African gospel industry. He has built a reputation for his high-energy performances and dancehall-influenced style, frequently collaborating with numerous gospel artists in the Kenyan music scene. Alemba’s catalog includes songs such as "Bless My Way," "Am Walking," "Pages Za Bible," "Nifungue," "Holy Ghost Party," "Around and Around," "Praise Him," and "Hide & Seek." His work has earned recognition, including a 2009 CHAT Award for Song of the Year for "Pages Za Bible" and a 2010 Groove Award for Ragga/Reggae Song of the Year for "Praise Him." After spending a period living in the United States, Alemba returned to Kenya to continue his music ministry. He remains a prominent figure in the East African gospel scene, celebrated for his ability to energize audiences and his contributions to the genre.
