Alex Campos

Alex Campos, born Édgar Alexánder Campos Mora on September 10, 1976, in Bogotá, Colombia, is a singer, songwriter, and minister known for his work in Latin Christian music. He began attending a local Christian church at age 12 and joined his first music group at age 14, early steps that set the foundation for his career. Campos later founded the band Misión Vida. His music is characterized by a blend of Latin rhythms and rock, focusing on themes of faith and hope. His early releases include *Tiempo de la Cruz* (1999) and *Al Taller del Maestro* (2002). He gained wider recognition with the album *Como un Niño* (2005). Other notable songs in his catalog include "Bella Princesa," "Tu Poeta," *El Sonido del Silencio*, and *Cuidaré de Ti*. Campos has recorded collaborations with other prominent Christian artists, including Marcos Witt, Jesús Adrián Romero, and Lilly Goodman. His work has earned him three Latin Grammy Awards for Best Christian Album in Spanish.
