About Alice Kamande
Alice Kamande is a Kenyan gospel singer, songwriter, fashion designer, and choreographer whose music is rooted in her Christian faith. Born on June 15, 1986, in Kenya, she began her journey in music at an early age, dancing and imitating artists by age seven and writing her own songs by the time she was fourteen.
Before pursuing music full-time, Kamande worked as a banker. She describes herself as a born-again Christian and views her music as a form of ministry. She gained national recognition in 2009 with the release of her breakthrough song, "Wewe Pekee."
Kamande’s catalog includes songs such as "Nimfahamu Yesu," "Sambaza," "Omba," "Upendo Ule Ule," "Tumaini Langu," and "Wi Munene." Her career reflects a transition from the corporate world to a full-time calling in gospel music.
