Amani G

Amani G, born Amani Gracious on May 8, 2005, is a Kenyan gospel singer and songwriter. She was raised in the Githurai neighborhood of Nairobi, Kenya. Her music is characterized by themes of faith, personal struggle, and hope, often blending various Christian music sub-genres. She gained international attention in 2018 at age 13 after a video of her singing a cover of Alicia Keys' "Girl on Fire" went viral. Following that success, she signed a recording contract with Pine Creek Records. Later that year, she released her debut album, *My Reflections at 13*, in December 2018. Her early catalog includes songs such as "Sitasahau" (2018), "Ni Poa" featuring Pitson (2018), "In Love" featuring Vivian (2018), "Nisipotee" (2019), "Asante" featuring Pendo (2019), "Miracle" (2019), and "Light It" (2019). In 2019, she was recognized as the "Young Groover of the Year" at the Groove Awards.
