Ben Cantelon

Ben Cantelon is a Canadian-born singer, songwriter, and worship leader known for his work in contemporary Christian music. He was born Benjamin Lennart Cantelon on August 5, 1983, in Vancouver, British Columbia, and was raised in a Christian home in Langley, British Columbia, as the son of a pastor. Cantelon served as the Worship Director at Soul Survivor in the UK and held a role at Worship Central. He also served as the Worship Director at Holy Trinity Brompton in London. During this time, he co-wrote the internationally recognized worship song "Happy Day" with Tim Hughes. His catalog of solo releases includes the albums *Running After You* and *Everything in Colour*, as well as the EPs *Daylight Breaks Through*, *Introducing Ben Cantelon*, and *The Ascent, Vol 1*. In 2017, Cantelon moved with his family to Nashville, Tennessee, where he continued his work in songwriting, music production, and worship leadership. He has been involved in leading worship at The Belonging Co in Nashville. His song "Saviour of the World" was nominated for a Covenant Award for Modern Worship Song in 2013.
