Blessing Offor

Blessing Offor is a Nigerian-born American singer-songwriter and musician whose work is frequently categorized as gospel and contemporary Christian music. He immigrated to the United States at age six to seek medical treatment for congenital glaucoma and became completely blind by age 10. Offor attended Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, and later competed on the seventh season of *The Voice* in 2014. He is signed to the Bowyer & Bow imprint, a label under Capitol Christian Music Group. His recorded catalog includes the albums *My Tribe* and *Real*, as well as the single or EP *Brighter Days*. Among his songs are "Believe," "Lift Me Up," and "Oh Child." Offor has also collaborated with other artists, recording "The Goodness" with TobyMac and "That's The Thing About Praise" with Benjamin William Hastings. At the 2024 Grammy Awards, he received nominations for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for *My Tribe* and for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for "Believe."
