Bongi Damans

Bongi Damans is a South African gospel artist who has been active in the industry since the early 1990s. She gained prominence under the mentorship of gospel artist Benjamin Dube. She is widely known as one half of the gospel duo Bongi & Collin, which she formed with her husband, Collin Damans. In addition to her work as a duo, Damans has been a featured vocalist on multiple projects by the gospel ensemble Spirit of Praise. Her recorded catalog includes songs such as "Reveal Yourself," "Yahweh We Worship You," "I Choose Jesus," and "Standing on the Promises." She also contributed to the tribute "Life Is Going On" as part of Bongi & Collin. Throughout her career, Damans has publicly shared her personal journey regarding health challenges, including a tumor diagnosis, as part of her testimony.
