Charles Jenkins

Charles Jenkins II was born on December 14, 1975, in St. Petersburg, Florida, and is a gospel artist, songwriter, and producer. A graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, he served as the senior pastor of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church of Chicago from 2000 to 2019. Jenkins rose to prominence in the gospel music industry with the 2012 release of *The Best of Both Worlds*. His music career is often associated with the choir Fellowship Chicago. He is also the founder of the music and entertainment company Inspired People LLC. His catalog includes songs such as "Awesome," "War," "Grace," "Winning," "He'll Make It Alright," "Can't Turn Back," "God Be Praised," and "We Found Love." For his work, Jenkins has received multiple Stellar Gospel Music Awards and multiple Billboard #1 honors on the Top Gospel Albums chart.
