Chris Shalom

Chris Shalom is a Nigerian gospel artist, songwriter, and music producer who serves as a prominent worship leader at Christ Embassy. He was introduced to music at age nine by his mother, who was a choir member, and later studied at the MUSON School of Music and the University of Lagos. Shalom joined Christ Embassy in 1995 and was mentored by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, who dubbed him "the man with the golden voice." His recorded catalog includes songs such as "My Beautifier," "Power Belongs to You," "You Are the Reason," "Jesus," "The Lord Is Here," and "Yes and Amen." Over the course of his career, Shalom has collaborated with other gospel artists, including Frank Edwards, Eben, and Samsong.
