Emanuel Lee Lambert, Jr., known professionally as Da' T.R.U.T.H., is a Christian rapper and a graduate of Cairn University. Born on December 15, 1977, he has been active in the music industry for over two decades, focusing on faith-centered hip-hop. In 2023, he announced he would primarily use his birth name, Emanuel, for his music career.
He founded the entertainment company Mixed Bag Entertainment and has hosted a gospel radio show on 98.7 Kiss FM in New York City. His album catalog includes The Faith (2005), Open Book (2007), The Big Picture (2009), The Whole Truth (2011), Heartbeat (2014), Bridges (2020), and Sound of Victory (2020). In 2023, he released the album Emanuel.
The Faith won a 2007 Stellar Award for "Rap/Hip Hop Gospel CD of the Year." The Big Picture reached number 1 on the iTunes Christian & Gospel Chart. The album Emanuel was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album in 2024.
