About Danny Plett
Danny Plett (born 1963) is a Canadian musician, songwriter, and producer of contemporary Christian music. Born into a musical family in Manitoba, Canada, with a clergyman father and a singer mother, he began composing songs at age twelve. He released his debut album, *You're The One*, at age 21.
From 1992 to 2013, Plett lived in Germany, where he worked as a musician for the Christian organization Janz Team, now known as TeachBeyond. During this period, he released several albums, including *Where Angels Dance* (1998), *Wie ein Strom* / *Like A River* (2004), *Wunder über Wunder* (2004), *Komm zum Kreuz* / *Come to the Cross* (2006), and *Dich will ich sehn* (2008). His work has included solo albums, children's concept albums featuring Bible verses, and collaborations with various Christian artists and choirs. He has performed at major Christian events such as ProChrist, Christival, and Willow Creek conferences.
Plett has also served as a worship pastor and is involved in mentoring young worship artists and songwriters. Since 2020, he has continued his ministry with TeachBeyond, focusing on concerts, coaching, and mentoring internationally. In 2022, he released the single "As Diamond Cuts Diamond."
