Dena Mwana

Dena Mwana, born Denise Mwanakitata Muwayi on December 27, 1986, is a Congolese gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader. Born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, her musical journey began in a church choir, a foundation that continues to shape her ministry-focused career. Since 2013, she has been an artist under the label Happy People Africa. Her music is performed in multiple languages, including French, English, Lingala, and Swahili, and she has collaborated with various international francophone and anglophone gospel artists. Her catalog includes songs such as "Souffle," "Lindanda (Na Na Na)," "Saint-Esprit," "Maintenant Seigneur," "Je Chante Hosanna," "Mon Oreille," "Si la mer se dechaine," and "Emmanuel." Dena Mwana has been recognized for her contributions to gospel music, receiving nominations and awards at the African Gospel Music & Media Awards.
