Ebiere

Ebiere Ohochukwu is a Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter born on August 24, 1980, in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. She began singing at age six and served in the choir at The Rock Word Church and Christ Embassy Church. Her early development in church music led to roles as the music director of the Eastern Zone choir of Christ Embassy and as a member of the Christ Embassy Praise Team. Ebiere holds a certificate in theatre arts from the University of Port Harcourt and a certificate in music from Middlesex University in London. She also established a music and entertainment outfit called "House of Ephraim." She is known for organizing "Ebiere Live in concert" events. Her recorded catalog includes the song "Yekileme (Why me)" from 2006, "Here For You" from 2007, "Pot of Gold" from 2013, and "Holy Spirit" from 2015. She released "Stake My Life" and "Dadi" in 2019. Ebiere also appears as a featured vocalist on the Sinach song "In Awe," released in 2018.
