Emachichi

Emachichi, the stage name of Emmanuel Chibanda, was a Congolese-born Kenyan gospel musician who gained prominence in the East African gospel music scene during the late 1990s and early 2000s. He was signed to the Africha Entertainment (CBS) record label. His catalog includes songs such as "Kazi Yangu Ikiisha (Nitamjua)," "Liko Lango Moja Wazi," "Hakuna Mungu Kama Wewe," "Aminisamehe," "Mpokee Yesu," "Mwambie Yesu," "Mimi Ndimi Njia," and "Jipe Moyo." Emachichi was married to Grace Wanjiru Wanjui, and the couple had one daughter named Joy Odet Chibanda. His younger brother, Randalson Saab, is also a gospel artist known as "Emachichi Junior." Emachichi passed away in November 2006 in Mombasa, Kenya.
