Keith and Kristyn Getty are a Northern Irish husband-and-wife musical duo, now based in Nashville, Tennessee, widely recognized as modern hymn writers in the contemporary Christian worship movement. They are the co-founders of the Getty Music organization, which produces music, events, and resources designed for church worship. Their work focuses on creating theologically rich, biblically based hymns intended for congregational singing.
The duo is known for leading the annual Sing! Conference, which gathers church leaders and musicians. They are also the authors of the book *Sing! How Worship Transforms Your Life, Family, and Church*. Their catalog of songs includes well-known titles such as "In Christ Alone," "Christ Our Hope in Life and Death," "We Will Feast in the House of Zion," "Living Waters," "Rejoice," "Christ The True and Better Adam," "Lord From Sorrows Deep I Call (Psalm 42)," and "Pass the Promise."
Keith Getty was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Queen Elizabeth II for his services to music and hymn writing.
