Gungor

Gungor is a musical collective formed by the husband-and-wife duo Michael and Lisa Gungor. The group gained prominence in the Christian music industry for their worship-oriented albums and songs, with their early work, particularly the album *Beautiful Things*, widely associated with the Christian worship music genre. Their music has been compared to artists such as Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver, and Arcade Fire. Michael Gungor began his career producing music for his church, Resurrection Life Church in Michigan. He has received multiple Grammy nominations for his work with the collective. The group's discography includes songs such as "You Make Beautiful Things," "Dry Bones," "Please Be My Strength," "You Have Me," and "I Am Mountain." Michael Gungor also released a solo song titled "Bigger Than My Imagination," and the collective released the album *Battle Cry: Worship from the Frontlines*. Additionally, the song "Friend of God," written by Michael Gungor and Israel Houghton, received a Dove Award nomination.
