Hillsong United

Hillsong United is a contemporary worship collective that originated from the youth ministry of Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia. The group was formed in 1998 and was originally known as "United Live" before changing its name to Hillsong United in 2002. The collective is composed of rotating worship leaders and musicians from the Hillsong Church community, with key figures including Joel Houston, Taya Gaukrodger, JD Douglass, and Matt Crocker. The band's mission is to create music that connects people with God and the message of Christ. Their musical style incorporates elements of contemporary worship, pop rock, and Christian rock. The group has released numerous studio and live albums throughout their career, including *Everyday*, *King of Majesty*, *To the Ends of the Earth*, and the EP *One*.
