Hillsong Young & Free

Hillsong Young & Free was a contemporary worship and Christian EDM group based in Sydney, Australia. Formed in 2012, the collective served as the youth worship expression of Hillsong Church and was founded by pastors Peter Toganivalu and Laura Toggs. The group was the third extension of the Hillsong worship ministry, following Hillsong Worship and Hillsong UNITED. Their musical style blended pop and electronic dance music (EDM) influences with worship lyrics. The group released several albums and EPs, including *We Are Young & Free (Live)* (2013), *This Is Living* (EP) (2015), *Youth Revival (Live)* (2016), *III* (2018), *All of My Best Friends* (2020), and *Out Here on a Friday Where It Began* (EP) (2021). Songs in their catalog include "Alive" and "Sinking Deep." Both *We Are Young & Free* (2013) and *Youth Revival* (2016) reached No. 1 on Billboard's Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart. *Youth Revival* also received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album. The group became inactive in 2023 following the departure of its founders from Hillsong Church.
