About Ilagosa Wa Ilagosa

Samuel Ilagosa, known professionally as Ilagosa Wa Ilagosa, was a Kenyan gospel musician and minister. He was born in Bugina Village, Busali ward, Vihiga County, Kenya. He attended Kakamega High School and the University of Nairobi. Before his music career, Ilagosa worked various jobs, including garbage collection and home security. He also served in a church in Kericho for seven years as a cleaner and watchman before his career in gospel music began. His catalog of recorded songs includes "Mungu wako Atakupigania," "New Chapter," "Sala Zangu," "Nishike Mkono," "Hakuna Silaha," "Vindu Vichenjanga," "Roho Hamba," and "What God Can Do." Ilagosa Wa Ilagosa passed away in a Nairobi hospital in February 2023. A postmortem examination revealed he died due to health complications related to high blood pressure and an enlarged heart.
