Ivlyn Mutua

Ivlyn Mutua is a Kenyan singer, songwriter, and performing artist known for blending reggae and ragga music styles into her work. She first gained attention in the gospel music industry with the release of her Swahili cover of "Excess Love," titled "Zaidi." Before stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist, she served as a background vocalist for various artists at the Coke Studio show. In 2015, Mutua earned a nomination for a Groove Award for her song "Delilah." Her catalog includes songs such as "Sham Sham," "Ebenezer," "Nobody," "Great One" (with Minister PK), and "Power." In 2019, Mutua publicly transitioned from gospel to secular music, a move she later described as a career shift for growth. By 2022, reports confirmed her return to the gospel music industry.
