Jamie Kimmett

Jamie Kimmett is a Christian singer-songwriter and guitarist known for his transition from a secular pop career to a ministry in Christian music. Born in Kilmarnock, Scotland, he studied music at the Ian Tomlin School of Music in Edinburgh before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a secular pop career, working with industry figures such as Steve Porcaro and Babyface. After converting to Christianity, he turned down a secular record deal and instead studied Bible exposition at the Cornhill Training Course in London. Kimmett’s catalog includes the EP *Prize Worth Fighting For*, as well as songs such as “Burdens,” “Love Your Neighbor,” “Since I Met You,” “Jesus On the Radio,” and “Down.” The title track from his EP, “Prize Worth Fighting For,” reached number 10 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart. He has toured with Christian artists including Casting Crowns, Zach Williams, Matt Maher, and For King & Country.
