Jamie Macdonald

Jamie Lyn MacDonald is an American contemporary Christian singer-songwriter originally from Caro, Michigan, and now based in Nashville, Tennessee. She began her music career independently in 2014. After experiencing personal struggles in her youth, she became a Christian and participated in prison ministry. She previously wrote songs for the International House of Prayer and is a member of the Capitol Christian Music Group (CCMG) family. Her singles "Desperate" and "Left It in the River" both reached the top of the Billboard Christian Adult Contemporary Airplay chart. Additionally, both songs entered the top 10 of the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart. Her debut self-titled album, *Jamie MacDonald*, was released in January 2026. The album includes songs such as "A Million Chances," "Who He Is," "Ain't No Way," "My Family," "You Can't Take My Song," and "He Has Time."
