Jasmine Murray

Jasmine Murray is an American contemporary Christian singer and songwriter. Born on December 12, 1991, she first gained public attention as a finalist on the eighth season of *American Idol*. She was also crowned Miss Mississippi in 2014 and placed in the top 10 at the Miss America 2015 pageant. Following her time on *American Idol*, Murray became involved with her local church’s worship team in Mississippi. She credits this experience with shifting her focus toward Christian music. She later signed with Fair Trade Services as a Christian artist and songwriter. Her debut full-length album, *Fearless*, was released in 2018. The album includes songs such as “While You Were Holding Me,” “No Other Love,” “Every Step,” “Rest Of My Life,” “Closer,” and “Vapor.” She also collaborated with Mandisa and Rita Springer on the song “It’s Not Over.”
