Jason Nelson

Jason Albert Nelson was born on November 10, 1974, in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a pastor at the Greater Bethlehem Temple Church in Randallstown, Maryland, and is the twin brother of gospel artist Jonathan Nelson. A multi-instrumentalist, producer, and worship leader, Nelson began his music career with the release of his debut album, *I Shall Live*, in 2005. Nelson’s 2012 album, *Shifting the Atmosphere*, reached the Billboard 200 and the Top Gospel Albums chart. The project earned him a Stellar Award for Praise and Worship CD of the Year in 2013. His follow-up album, *Jesus Revealed* (2015), reached number one on the Top Gospel Albums chart. Among his catalog of songs are "Forever," "Nothing Without You," "Way Maker," "Captured My Heart," "I Am," "Never Go a Day," "In the Room," and "Yahweh." The single "Forever" reached number one on the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart.
