About Jermaine Edwards
Jermaine Edwards is a Jamaican gospel recording artist, songwriter, and producer known for his reggae gospel sound. He was born on July 22, 1980, in St. Andrew, Jamaica, to Bishop Rowan Edwards and Pastor Janet Edwards. Growing up in a ministry-focused family, he began playing keyboard at church services and crusades before the age of ten. He later served as Minister of Music at Light House Assembly.
Edwards married his wife, Tracylyn, in 1999. He released his debut album, *Island Worship: A Jamaican Experience*, in 2004. His musical catalog includes songs such as "Make A Way," "My Champion," "Beautiful Day," "Heal My Heart," "Shining Bright," "I'm Blessed," "Only You," and "Peace in My Soul."
His 2009 album *Destiny* earned significant recognition at the 2010 Caribbean Gospel Marlin Awards, where it won five awards. These included Song of the Year for "Make You Smile," Album of the Year, Reggae Vocal Performance of the Year, Engineered Recording of the Year, and Producer of the Year.
