Jershika Maple

Jershika Maple is a gospel and inspirational artist who serves as a worship leader, singer, songwriter, actor, and vocal coach. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and raised in a military family, she began singing at a young age in her church’s children’s choir. Her musical style blends gospel soul roots with jazz undertones. Before gaining national attention, Maple worked as a full-time security guard while pursuing her music career. She also served as a background singer for artists including John P. Kee and Zacardi Cortez. She released the single “Let God Take You Higher” in 2019, followed by “I Give” in 2021. Maple gained national attention as a Top 5 finalist on Season 21 of NBC’s *The Voice*. Her performance of “God Only Knows” on the show reached #10 on the Billboard Top 100 Gospel Digital Sales Chart. She later released the single “Inseparable” in 2022.
