Jessica Reedy

Jessica Reedy is an American gospel singer, songwriter, author, and entrepreneur. She was born on July 12, 1988, in Saginaw, Michigan, and began singing at age four, often performing after her grandfather’s sermons at church. She gained national recognition as the first runner-up on the second season of BET’s gospel competition *Sunday Best* in 2009. Her debut album, *From the Heart*, was released in 2011 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. She followed this with her second album, *Transparent*, in 2014, which reached No. 5 on the same chart. Her catalog includes songs such as “Better,” “God Has Smiled On Me,” “Flow,” “Put It On The Altar,” “Something Out Of Nothing,” “Moving Forward,” “I’m Still Here,” and “So In Love With You (Amazing).” In 2015, she won a Stellar Award. Beyond her music career, Reedy founded The Industry Development Center in Saginaw, Michigan, in 2019. The center provides educational programs in business and entrepreneurship, reflecting her commitment to community development.
