About Jillian Edwards
Jillian Edwards is an American singer-songwriter who approaches her music through a Christian lens. Born in Dallas and raised in Richardson, Texas, she attended Baylor University in Waco, where she began performing at local coffee shops. Her recording career began in 2009 with the self-released EP *Galaxies & Such*. She is now based in Franklin, Tennessee.
Edwards’ 2011 EP *Headfirst* charted on five Billboard charts, including the Billboard 200 at No. 187. Her 2014 album *Daydream* peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Folk Albums chart. Her music has also been featured in television shows including *Grey’s Anatomy*, *Nashville*, and *Pretty Little Liars*.
Her faith is reflected in EPs such as *Meadow* (2020) and *Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled* (2021), as well as songs like *Heaven’s Eyes*, *Mighty God*, *Quiet Talk*, and *Flourishing, Thriving*. Her songwriting often explores themes of faith, motherhood, and finding beauty in the mundane. She released the EP *Emotional Rollercoaster* in 2024 and hosts a podcast titled *Ponderwell*. Edwards is married to Will Franklin Chapman, a drummer for the band Colony House and son of Christian artist Steven Curtis Chapman.
