Joe Praize

Joe Praize is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader. He was born Joseph Omo Ebhodaghe on June 20, 1979, in Edo State, Nigeria. He became a born-again Christian in 1991 and later graduated with a degree in Social Work and Administration from the University of Jos, Plateau State. Praize began his music career in 2005, serving as a praise and worship leader at Christ Embassy (LoveWorld). His musical style blends contemporary gospel with praise and worship elements. He gained widespread recognition with the song "Mighty God," which won Song of the Year at the LoveWorld Awards in 2010. The following year, he received the Best West Africa award at the Africa Gospel Music Awards UK. His catalog includes songs such as "Joy Overflow," "Unchangeable God," "Holy Ghost," "Alpha Omega," "Everything is Blessed," "Miracle Papa," and "Done Me Well." In 2019, "Joy Overflow" was named Hit Song of the Year at the Loveworld International Music Awards (LIMA). Beyond music, Praize is the CEO of Coast2Coast Universal Services, a media outfit based in Lagos, Nigeria. He has ministered in various countries, including South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
