Jon Thurlow

Jon Thurlow (born December 27, 1980) is an American contemporary worship musician and songwriter. He was born in Oakland, California, and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Thurlow holds a Bachelor of Sacred Music degree from Nyack College and began leading worship as a teenager in high school. In 2004, he joined the ministry at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City (IHOPKC). He has served as a worship leader for various churches, ministries, and global events for nearly 20 years. In 2013, he signed with Forerunner Music, the in-house label of IHOPKC. His 2014 album *Stand in Awe* charted on the Billboard Christian Albums and Heatseekers Albums charts. Thurlow's catalog includes songs such as "Jesus, You're Beautiful," "Mighty Hand," "Take Your Place," "Confidence in Love," and "Fully in Love." He has also released the albums *A Life That's Worthy* and *A Different Story*. Since 2020, he has focused on training and coaching the next generation of worship leaders through courses and groups. He is married to Kinsey Thurlow.
