Joshua Rogers

Joshua Rogers is a contemporary gospel artist who rose to prominence as the winner of the fifth season of BET’s Sunday Best in 2012. He was born on March 22, 1994, in Greeleyville, South Carolina, and was raised in an Apostolic church where his grandmother served as a pastor. His musical background began by singing and playing drums in her church.

In 2012, Rogers became the first male and the youngest winner of Sunday Best. Following his victory, he signed a recording contract with Music World Entertainment. His debut EP, Well Done, was released that same year and debuted at number one on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. His first full-length album, Unconditional, followed in 2013.

Rogers has been a featured guest vocalist on programs such as TBN’s Praise the Lord and BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel. His catalog includes songs such as “Pour Your Oil,” “STILL GON’ TRUST,” “Returning,” “Peace Be Still,” and “We Expect You.”
