Joshua Rogers

Joshua Rogers is a contemporary gospel artist who rose to prominence as the winner of the fifth season of BET’s *Sunday Best* in 2012. He was born on March 22, 1994, in Greeleyville, South Carolina, and was raised in an Apostolic church where his grandmother served as a pastor. His musical background began by singing and playing drums in her church. In 2012, Rogers became the first male and the youngest winner of *Sunday Best*. Following his victory, he signed a recording contract with Music World Entertainment. His debut EP, *Well Done*, was released that same year and debuted at number one on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. His first full-length album, *Unconditional*, followed in 2013. Rogers has been a featured guest vocalist on programs such as TBN’s *Praise the Lord* and BET’s *Bobby Jones Gospel*. His catalog includes songs such as “Pour Your Oil,” “STILL GON’ TRUST,” “Returning,” “Peace Be Still,” and “We Expect You.”
