About Joyce Blessing
Joyce Blessing, born Joyce Akosua Twene, is a Ghanaian gospel musician. She began singing in church at the age of 14 and later sharpened her live performance skills as a member of the "See Them Band" in Kumasi. Before launching her own career, she served as a backing vocalist for various Ghanaian musicians, including Diana Asamoah and Jewel Ackah.
She released her debut album, *Obi Ntu Nyame Fo*, in 2007. Joyce Blessing rose to prominence in 2013 following the release of the single "Monko Moakyi." That same year, she won six awards at the Ghana Gospel Industry Awards. She followed this success by winning five awards at the 2014 Gospel Music Awards, including Best Vocalist and Best Gospel Album of the Year.
Her catalog includes the albums *Heavy Price* and *Agyebum*, as well as the *Victory* EP and the *Holy Ghost Worship* series (Volumes 1 and 2). Other songs in her discography include "Can't Forget," a collaboration with Guardian Angel, along with "Over Do" and "Oluwa Is Involved." In 2017, she won Best Praise Song of the Year at the National Gospel Awards and Best Gospel Music Video of the Year at the 4syte Music Video Awards. Known for her energetic stage performances, she has been referred to as a "gospel hit-maker."
