About Kathryn Scott

Kathryn Scott is a contemporary worship leader and songwriter known for her work within the Vineyard movement. Born Kathryn Sarah Scott on September 29, 1974, in Eastbourne, England, she was raised in Northern Ireland. She studied theology at Elim Bible College in England, where she earned a BA Hons degree. Scott gained prominence for writing the song "Hungry," which was featured on the 1999 Vineyard album of the same name. She and her husband, Alan Scott, were founding members and pastors of the Causeway Coast Vineyard Church in Northern Ireland. She was mentored by worship leader Brian Doerksen. Her solo discography includes albums such as *Satisfy* (2004), *I Belong* (2007), and *We Still Believe* (2010). Her catalog also includes songs like "At the Foot of the Cross," "First Love," and "Rise Up." Scott has also served as a pastor at Vineyard Anaheim Church in California. In 2020, she released the live album *Speak to Me* in partnership with Watershed Music Group.
