Kathy Troccoli

Kathy Troccoli is a Contemporary Christian Music artist, author, and speaker who began her professional music career in 1982. Born on June 24, 1958, in Brooklyn, New York, she became a Christian in 1978 after attending a Baptist church on Long Island. Her debut album became the fastest-selling debut from a female artist in Christian music history at the time of its release. Throughout her career, Troccoli has released 24 recordings, including the albums *Sounds of Heaven*, *A Sentimental Christmas*, *The Heart of Me*, and *Images*. Her catalog includes well-known songs such as “Go Light Your World,” “Stubborn Love,” and “Simply Jesus.” Beyond Christian music, she achieved mainstream success with the hit “Everything Changes” and a collaboration with The Beach Boys on “I Can Hear Music.” Troccoli’s work has been recognized with 2 GMA Dove Award wins and 19 GMA Dove Award nominations, as well as 3 Grammy Award nominations. She has also achieved 18 number-one radio hits. In addition to her music career, she is a published author of several books, including the *Falling in Love with Jesus* series, and has served on mission fields in countries including Africa, China, India, and Central America.
