Keith Wonderboy Johnson

Keith Lamar Johnson (1972–2022), known professionally as Keith "Wonderboy" Johnson, was an American gospel singer-songwriter. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, and led the backing group The Spiritual Voices. Johnson began his solo music career in 1998 with the release of the album *Through the Storm*. Over a thirteen-year period, he released fourteen albums on labels including World Wide Gospel, Verity, and Blacksmoke Records. His catalog includes *Live and Alive* (2000), *Tribute to Quartet Legends, Vol. 1* (2001), *Send a Revival* (2002), *New Season* (2004), and *Back 2 Basics: Chapter Two* (2011). His final release was the single *It Was You* in 2022. Eleven of Johnson's albums charted on the *Billboard* Gospel Albums chart, with multiple projects also appearing on the Independent Albums and Heatseekers Albums charts. He was cited as a five-time Stellar Award winner. Johnson also appeared as a featured artist on the song "He's My Roof Top" with Ricky Dillard.
