Kenny Smith

Kenny Smith is a praise and worship leader and gospel recording artist based in Columbia, South Carolina. The son of a pastor and a music teacher, he began playing piano at age four and started performing solo as a child. He began playing in churches at age 11 and became a minister of music at age 15.

Smith began his professional musical career as a songwriter. He released his debut EP, Perfect Place, in 2010, followed by the album Songs of the Heart in 2011. His catalog also includes the album My Life, His Lyrics (2015) and the single "All For You."

His 2017 album, Transformation, features songs inspired by his experience with Stage 3 cancer and his subsequent remission. The album reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart. Smith has also been nominated for a Rhythm of Gospel Award.
