Kenny Smith

Kenny Smith is a praise and worship leader and gospel recording artist based in Columbia, South Carolina. The son of a pastor and a music teacher, he began playing piano at age four and started performing solo as a child. He began playing in churches at age 11 and became a minister of music at age 15. Smith began his professional musical career as a songwriter. He released his debut EP, *Perfect Place*, in 2010, followed by the album *Songs of the Heart* in 2011. His catalog also includes the album *My Life, His Lyrics* (2015) and the single "All For You." His 2017 album, *Transformation*, features songs inspired by his experience with Stage 3 cancer and his subsequent remission. The album reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart. Smith has also been nominated for a Rhythm of Gospel Award.
