About Kim Hopper

Kim Hopper is a Southern Gospel singer, best known as the soprano vocalist for the family group The Hoppers and for her appearances on the Gaither Homecoming series. Born Kim Greene, she began her career in gospel music as a member of the group The Greenes, where she sang for ten years. In 1988, she married Dean Hopper, and the following year she joined The Hoppers as their soprano vocalist. The Hoppers are a family-based Southern Gospel group that was established in 1957. Kim Hopper became a featured performer in the Gaither Homecoming video and tour series, bringing her voice to a wide audience. Throughout her career, Kim Hopper has been recognized for her vocal work. She has been named Southern Gospel's Favorite Soprano and Favorite Female Vocalist in industry-specific awards. Her recorded catalog with The Hoppers includes songs such as "Here I Am," "Jerusalem," "Shoutin' Time," "Grace Will Always Be Greater," "Mention My Name," "The Ride," and "I've Come Too Far." In 2012, The Hoppers were inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame.
