About Kirk Dearman

Kirk Dearman is a singer, songwriter, and pianist recognized for his work in worship and the arts. He began playing piano at age five and studied classical music for eight years. By age 20, he had toured internationally with the Continental Singers. He later served as a youth choir director in Dallas, Texas, where he led a 150-voice choir. Dearman and his wife, Deby, spent seven years in Europe co-leading a performing arts company now known as Creative Arts Europe. The Dearmans are founders of the ministry "Come to the Quiet," based in Franklin, Tennessee. His music is often characterized by a contemplative, worship-focused style. Dearman is best known for composing the widely recorded worship song "We Bring the Sacrifice of Praise." The song was a #1 song with Christian Copyright Licensing for five years and remained in the Top Ten for ten years. His other songs include "Instruments of Your Peace," "As we drink this cup, we worship You," "Everyone is welcome at this table," "We choose the fear of the Lord," "Where there is hatred, we will sow His love," and "You are exalted, Lord, above all else." In 2018, he released the album *Heart Hymns*.
