Latice Crawford

Latice Crawford is an American urban contemporary gospel singer and songwriter. She was born on July 22, 1982, in Manhattan, New York, and was raised in Queens, New York. She gained national attention as a third-place finalist on the second season of the BET gospel competition series *Sunday Best*. Known for her three-octave, contralto vocal range, Crawford released her debut self-titled album, *Latice Crawford*, in 2014 on RCA Inspiration. The album reached the Billboard Top Gospel Albums and Top Heatseekers charts. Her sophomore project, *Diary of a Church Girl*, a five-song EP, was released in 2016 and also appeared on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart. She has also released the EP *The Cure*. Crawford has served as a worship leader and has a background in singing in church choirs. In addition to her music career, she is a certified life coach who integrates mental wellness into her music ministry. She received a Stellar Award nomination for Contemporary Female Vocalist of the Year.
