Lauren Ashley Daigle was born on September 9, 1991, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She is a singer and songwriter known for her work in the contemporary Christian music and pop genres. Daigle signed with the label Centricity Music in 2014.
Her debut album, *How Can It Be*, was released in 2015 and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. The album included songs such as "Trust in You," "O'Lord," and the title track "How Can It Be." Her 2018 album, *Look Up Child*, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and featured the hit song "You Say."
Daigle has publicly discussed her faith and its role in her music and career. She has performed on various mainstream television programs, contributing to her crossover success. Her catalog also includes songs like "Rescue," "First," and "Thank God I Do," as well as the Christmas collaboration "Noel."
Daigle has received two Grammy Awards, winning Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for *Look Up Child* and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for "You Say" in 2019.
