Lecrae

Lecrae Devaughn Moore was born on October 9, 1979, and is an American hip-hop recording artist, songwriter, and record producer. In 2004, he co-founded the independent record label Reach Records. He also served as president of ReachLife Ministries, an organization focused on bridging faith and urban culture, and is the author of the book *Unashamed*, which details his journey to faith. His music often addresses themes of faith, social justice, and personal struggle. Lecrae’s catalog includes the albums *Real Talk*, *Rebel*, *Gravity*, *Anomaly*, and *Restoration*, as well as the *Church Clothes* mixtape series. His song “I’ll Find You” features Tori Kelly, and he collaborated with Tasha Cobbs Leonard on the track “Your Power.” His work has earned several Grammy Awards. He won Best Gospel Album at the 55th Grammy Awards for *Gravity*, and later won Best Contemporary Christian Music Album at the 66th Grammy Awards for *Church Clothes 4*. At the 2024 Grammy Awards, he won Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for “Your Power.” Additionally, *Anomaly* became the first album to top both the Billboard 200 and Gospel Albums charts in the same week. He received an Honorary Doctorate of Music from Canada Christian College in 2016.
