Leeland

Leeland is a Christian worship band originally from Baytown, Texas, formed in 2004. The group is led by singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Leeland Mooring, with guitarist and co-writer Casey Moore as a core member. The band members have a background as children of local church pastors and traveling evangelists. The band debuted with the album *Sound of Melodies* in 2006. Their music is characterized as progressive worship with a focus on congregational singing. Leeland has been associated with the Bethel Music collective and has collaborated with various Christian artists, including Michael W. Smith, Brandon Heath, and TAYA. Leeland's catalog includes songs such as "Way Maker," "Lion and The Lamb," "Better Word," "Tears Of The Saints," "Where You Are," "My Worship," "Heart & Flesh," and "Sound of Melodies." The band has received four Grammy Award nominations and eight GMA Dove Award nominations.
