Leon Bridges

Leon Bridges, born Todd Michael Bridges on July 13, 1989, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor based in Fort Worth, Texas. He is known for his soul, R&B, and neo-soul music, debuting with the 2015 album *Coming Home*, which drew inspiration from 1960s soul music. He has since released multiple studio albums, including *Good Thing* (2018), *Gold-Diggers Sound* (2021), and *Leon* (2024). While Bridges has expressed personal faith and incorporates spiritual themes into his music, he explicitly rejects the label of "Christian musician," describing himself instead as a "Christian that makes art." His catalog includes songs such as "River" and "God is Love," a collaboration with Common and Jonathan McReynolds. He has also collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Khruangbin on the EP *Texas Sun* and Lecrae. Bridges has been nominated for and won Grammy Awards, including Best Traditional R&B Performance at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards for his single "Bet Ain't Worth The Hand."
