Lindell Cooley was born on February 3, 1963, in Red Bay, Alabama, and was raised as the only child of a minister in Northern Alabama. He is a Christian pastor, worship leader, and singer known for his role in the Brownsville Revival. Cooley served as the music minister for the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola, Florida, from 1995 to 2004. His musical style is characterized as soulful gospel and rock-infused contemporary worship, and he is a multi-instrumentalist who plays piano, drums, bass guitar, and organ. His catalog from this period includes live recordings such as *Revival at Brownsville*, *Open Up the Sky*, and *Encounter Worship 1*, as well as songs like "Awesome God" (Live), "Enemy's Camp," and "Spirit of the Sovereign God." Following his tenure at Brownsville, Cooley became the founder and lead pastor of Grace Church in Nashville, Tennessee. He also serves as the president of Music Missions International, a nonprofit organization focused on missions and music.
