About Lynda Randle

Lynda Randle is an American alto singer known for her work in southern gospel music. Born Lynda Tait Randle on February 7, 1962, in Washington, D.C., she has been a featured artist in the Gaither Homecoming series and videos since 1998. In addition to her work as a singer, Randle is a songwriter, author, and speaker. She is married to Pastor Michael Randle and is the sister of Michael Tait, a member of dc Talk and the Newsboys. Her catalog includes albums such as *A Tribute To Mahalia Jackson*, *Timeless*, *Pilgrim Journey*, and *By the Riverside*. Among the songs she has recorded are "God on The Mountain," "One Day at a Time," and "I'm Free." Randle has also authored books, including *God on the Mountain* and *30 Days to Harmony*. Her work has extended to performing at events for organizations such as the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. In 2005, she won a Dove Award for "Traditional Gospel Album of the Year" for *A Tribute to Mahalia Jackson*.
