Mark Barlow

Mark Barlow is a singer-songwriter and worship pastor at Isla Vista Church in Santa Barbara, California. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, he graduated from Charis Bible College in 2014 before moving into ministry work. He began working with the worship movement Isla Vista Worship in 2015. Barlow’s musical style is often described as minimalist bedroom soul, retro soul, and gospel. As an independent recording artist, he writes both faith-centered songs and personal creative expressions. He has stated that his music is driven by a call to help people experience God and see Jesus more clearly. His catalog includes the albums *Soul Hymns* (2019) and *Hymns & Soul* (2021). He has also released songs such as “So in Love,” “814,” “Let’s Call It Forever,” and “Face to Face.” Additionally, he collaborated with Tekoa on the song “Matthew 6.”
