Martha Reed

Martha Reed Garvin has been a professional musician for over 50 years, known for her performances of hymns and traditional gospel music. She is the host and creator of the radio and television program Musical Memories, a media ministry dedicated to preserving classic sacred music.

A graduate of Olivet Nazarene University, Garvin was a former member of the university’s Orpheus Choir. Her musical career has included singing and playing piano for conventions, weddings, and memorial services.

Garvin’s recorded catalog features hymn performances such as “O Happy Day, That Fixed My Choice,” as well as gospel selections including “Don’t Turn Him Away,” “Never Alone,” “Where the Healing Waters Flow,” “It Pays To Serve Jesus,” “Jesus Took My Burden,” “My Latest Sun Is Sinking Fast (Angel Band),” and “Faith Unlocks The Door.”
