About Marvin Morrow
Marvin Morrow is a gospel singer, songwriter, and ordained pastor who has devoted his life to country gospel music and ministry. Born on June 11, 1945, in Wayne County, Tennessee, he began playing music at a young age, purchasing his first mandolin when he was eight and starting to sing and play by age ten. In 1975, he accepted a call into the ministry and was ordained the following year in August 1976.
Morrow has served as a pastor of churches and has been active in gospel music for over fifty years. He operates Old Ship Ministries, Piney Records, and Old Ship Music Publishing Co., through which he has released numerous CD and video projects. He frequently performs and records alongside his wife, Vernell Morrow.
His recorded catalog includes the album *The Bible Is True After All* (1996) and more recent singles such as "I'm Not Ashamed" (2024). Other songs in his repertoire include "My Jesus Can," "Did You Talk To God Today," "If Jesus," "Because of the Blood," "Oh What Love," and "I Need Jesus."
