Matt Gilman

Matt Gilman is a Christian worship leader, singer, and songwriter. He was born on July 15, 1985, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is the son of a Lutheran pastor. He began leading worship at his family’s church at the age of 14. In 2002, Gilman attended a worship conference at the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC), an experience that led him to join their internship program and later serve as a worship leader in their prayer room. His professional music career began with the 2008 collaborative album *Holy*, released through Forerunner Music. He released his solo debut album, *Awaken Love*, in 2013, which was produced by Ed Cash. Gilman has also served as a worship leader at Deeper Fellowship Church in Orlando, Florida. His ministry work includes teaching, mentoring, and founding the Throne Room Academy. He has collaborated with various Christian music collectives, including Influence Music and Ramp Worship, and his catalog includes songs such as "Refiner" and "To Worship You I Live."
