Matt Papa

Matt Papa is an American contemporary Christian music singer, songwriter, hymn writer, author, and worship leader. He is a three-time Dove Award-nominated artist known for his contributions to modern hymnody and congregational music. Papa has worked extensively with Keith & Kristyn Getty as part of the Getty Music songwriting team. He also frequently collaborates with songwriter and pastor Matt Boswell. Together, they have written songs including "Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery," "Christ Our Hope in Life and Death," and "Christ the True and Better Adam." Other songs in Papa's catalog include "His Mercy Is More," "Promises," and "Psalm 150 (Praise the Lord)." His 2009 album *Your Kingdom Come* charted at number 46 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart and number 33 on the Top Heatseekers chart. He has also released the album *Almost Home* and the EP *Church Songs*. Papa previously served as a worship director at The Summit Church in Raleigh, North Carolina, and is the author of the book *Look and Live*. He currently serves as an artist-in-residence at Marco Island Presbyterian Church in Marco Island, Florida.
